Program Coordinator – Successteam Youth Council
Position Description
Successteam Youth Council Program Coordinators receive the opportunity to impact scholars in grades; 9th 12th via mentorship and leadership development throughout the fiscal year. Tasked with ensuring the implementation of in-person biweekly group sessions, college tours, outreach experiences, volunteer initiatives, and developmental objectives in relation to the Successteam Youth Council curriculum. All selected candidates will receive access to our Mentor Training & Development Program provided in a Hybrid – Presentation Format.
Duties and Responsibilities
Included but are not limited to:
- Program Coordinator throughout Biweekly Sessions + Scheduled Experiences (1st & 3rd Saturdays)
- Attend and actively participate in the Successteam Youth Council curriculum & program
- Build relationships with key volunteers to support members and parent throughout the program.
- Serve as Lead Mentor providing direction and structure in absence of Executive Director.
- Prioritize the health and safety of program participants + team members.
- Coordinate with Executive Director to ensure program activities and meetings have guidance and leadership
- Provide leadership in cases of urgency or emergency in alignment with program emergency procedures.
- Assist in communication and updates for semester agenda, meal schedule, and experience plans.
- Assist in the planning and execution of program activities
Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, Accredited Certification, or Relevant Experience
- Must be able to pass Background Check
- Must be able to pass Drug Test
- Must have Driver’s License or Access to Reliable Transportation
Successteam Intern Position
Position Description
Successteam Internships are seasonal opportunities focusing on leadership development, mentor development, professional development, and community outreach. Candidates are selected after successfully completing the Interview Process and Onboarding Orientation. All selected candidates will receive access to our Mentor Training & Development Program provided in a Hybrid – Presentation Format. Internship Positions support the following programs & areas:
- Program Coordination & Youth Development
- Administrative Assistance
- Fundraising
- Programs: Successteam Youth Council, Back to School Bookbag Drive, Night of Champions

Must be Aged 18+ Ranked as College Student or Professional
Must be able to pass Background Check
Must be able to pass Drug Test
Must have Driver’s License or Access to Reliable Transportation
